I remembered how a Feng Shui master ended up predicting it wrong when he said that 2020 will be a prosperous year. It was a prosperous year only for the COVID-19 disease but not for people. Now, I even read that the Year of the Metal Rat always had a disaster in China for every 60 years. Some of these disasters historically recorded are the First Opium War, Boxer Rebellion, Great Chinese Famine, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Some Feng Shui masters predicted the disaster but should we trust them? My answer is no because God has given His warning that there are times he allows false prophets to predict something real. Remember Balaam uttered the words that a star out of Jacob will arise and Caiaphas prophesied that Jesus will die for the nation. Deuteronomy 13:1-2 says that there will be a time when God will allow false prophets to utter the truth to test the people.   It's October and Reformation month isn't the only thing around. You've got Satan in full force with the Rosary Month and Halloween . Halloween is obviously associated with the occult. While growing up as a Roman Catholic, I remembered the time I was told to respect the crucifix because of its powers to drive away from the occult. However, when I became a born again Christian after listening to the preaching from an Anabaptist radio program, I began to see why crucifixes were occult. In fact, it violates Exodus 20:4-5 and behind every idol is a demon, Christ being God is to be worshiped in Spirit and in Truth. I remembered my experience (as a child) in trying out two exercises used by spiritism namely Spirit of the Glass and Spirit of the Coin. Lately, I thought about the findings of ideomotor effect where you sometimes move objects or even yourself without knowing it. Chances are I was only experiencing an ideomotor effect when me and some friends tried to communicate with spirits. Did spirits move the glass and the coin? I couldn't really tell but one this is certain - what I was doing was not right with God! It's really crazy to think if someone can claim to be a Christian while believing in any form of astrology at the same time. Feng Shui is no different. Some might think it's "harmless fun"  but that's what Satan wants people to think of witchcraft. Whether they like it or not - Feng Shui is simply another form of witchcraft as it's associated with astrology and superstition. I remembered the time I used to enjoy watching horror movies when I was still not yet saved. While I watched them for the sake of a thrill never mind that they also gave me nightmares. Yet I somehow enjoyed all these filth called horror movies. These horror movies were laced with New Age doctrine, Roman Catholic superstition and/or folk superstition. Some of them mixed Roman Catholic superstitions with folk superstitions which some of them call it Santerianism. I observed how some of these movies not only use crucifixes and holy water to fight off the monsters but also the use of garlic and salt. Regardless of what was put and what was mixed they all were from the same deception of Satan. They also feed the desires of the flesh. I remembered a misconception I kept for some time that Satan is the ruler of Hell until I started reading and studying more of the Bible. It's a popular misconception that sadly, some Christian publications tend to portray Satan as the ruler of Hell when he isn't. It's even worse that some Christian comics even portray Satan and his demons having fun torturing the unsaved people in Hell. But the more I read the Bible the more I see that Hell isn't even Satan's domain. So why are some Christian publishers thinking that Satan rules Hell in the first place?  Do you want to know where Satan is now? Why don't you read the Bible instead of watching secular entertainment that portrays Satan as the ruler of Hell? Why keep thinking about the cartoons where Satan waits for the damned and laughs evilly as they fall into Hell? It's very easy for me to get tempted to do habits that I'm delivered from. Backsliding is not a joke and one of them involves returning to the occult. It's very easy for me to attempt transcendental meditation again when I'm feeling angry. Emptying the mind but not filling it with the Word of God only provides space for new filth. I feel it's very easy to return to believing in the foolishness of fortune telling to avoid disasters and to make decisions whenever things go wrong. It's just stupid to expect to go through life unscathed. This is because of the sin nature that I'm not yet fully delivered from.  Bad things have been happening to me one after the other. I feel like the demons are mocking me, telling me because I dropped believing in occult practices such as Feng Shui and the Horoscope that these things are happening. I even get reminded of how Manny Pacquiao's loss was blamed towards his conversion from Roman Catholicism to Christianity....

It's very easy to say that I'm just "jealous" of Roman Catholics or any pseudo-Christian group because of their miracles. The Roman Catholics tend to brag about a lot of these miracles that happen like alleged apparitions or miracles involving their idols which they claim are just there to serve as reminders. The sad reality is that while the Bible does have apparitions and miracles in the Old Testament and the New Testament but not all of them are biblical. I don't deny that an angel appeared to Mary announcing Christ's birth or that Joshua saw the Lord Jesus Christ before His incarnation. Since it's October it's not easy for me not to think about two events that are fighting for the spot. One is Halloween and the other is the Reformation. Before, I used to think it was okay for Christians to celebrate Halloween until I found out that it was all focused on the celebration of occultism. Why should Christians allow their children to dress up as demons, ghosts and witches for fun? Halloween is celebrating the occult. While Christmas might be compromised by removing all the pagan aspects but not Halloween. Halloween is the time of the year when witches and satanists consider it their most precious day.
