Giving a Piece of My Mind on Signs and Lying Wonders in the Last Days!

It's very easy to say that I'm just "jealous" of Roman Catholics or any pseudo-Christian group because of their miracles. The Roman Catholics tend to brag about a lot of these miracles that happen like alleged apparitions or miracles involving their idols which they claim are just there to serve as reminders. The sad reality is that while the Bible does have apparitions and miracles in the Old Testament and the New Testament but not all of them are biblical. I don't deny that an angel appeared to Mary announcing Christ's birth or that Joshua saw the Lord Jesus Christ before His incarnation. But the problem is that are these miracles from God or just another sign and lying wonder?
The Apostle Paul warns in Galatians 1:8:
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Did you read that? Let anyone who preach another gospel even if it were an angel from Heaven be accursed! Many Roman Catholics tend to rely too much on signs and lying wonders that it's so easy to deceive them. You have many cultists who claim to have had a visitation from an angel claiming that the Church supposedly fell into apostasy and they've come to "restore" the Gospel. Islam's Muhammad claimed that he had a visitation from the angel Gabriel and other angels who supposedly helped him write the Koran. But all these teachings don't match up with the Bible.

I remembered I used to be fascinated by Marian apparitions while I was still a Roman Catholic until I started reading the Bible for myself. Many of these apparitions (approved or not by the Vatican) don't agree with the Bible or contradicts itself. Some of these visions divert the people's devotion to Jesus (who is God) to Mary who is just another human being who needed a Savior. It's horrible how some Roman Catholics use Luke 1:47 to justify the heresy Mary was supposedly born without sin when in that same verse she acknowledged she needed a Savior.

Here's what the Bible also has to say about signs and wonders in the last days:
2 Thessalonians 2:7-10 - "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."

Remember, the Antichrist and the False Prophet also have miracles to accompany them. Although Satan isn't all-powerful nor can he raise the dead but he can certainly fool people that he could. He may even make it look like amputated limbs were restored even when they weren't. He could make it look like someone rose from the dead when they didn't. Satan himself may not be all-knowing but his cunning can't be underestimated. The Bible has this to say about the miracles during the Tribulation period:
Revelation 13:11-15 - And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Revelation 19:20 - And the Beast was taken, and with him the False Prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

So are you just thinking that just because there are signs or wonders that it must be from God or do you bother to check the Bible? Unfortunately, many people will end up taking the Mark of the Beast because they're too lazy to read their Bibles. Maybe, just maybe the whole 666-microchip theory is just another distraction from making people see what the mark of the Beast really is: a sign of worship and allegiance. It's more than just a mark - it's a sign of loyalty that unless you bow downt o the Antichrist you will not be awarded that mark. In turn, not being able to buy and sell is the consequence of refusing to worship the Antichrist.
