I Believe That the Anti-Vaccine Movement is Motivated by the LOVE of Money

Image
I don't want to deny that there are doctors and hospitals, who only want profits than to help others in need. However, the whole video "Plandemic" is nothing more than a scam. I even remembered how Andrew Wakefield made a name for himself in a fraudulent study where he linked vaccines to autism. It was proven wrong and Wakefield got his license removed. However, that didn't stop the anti-vaccine movement from making him a hero for their cause. Yet, Wakefield (from what I heard) is known for his love for money and fame. Wakefield apparently charges huge bucks to speak at events. This made me think that the anti-vaccine movement is motivated by the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10). Why do I want to link the movement to the love of money? Some people in the medical industry are guilty of profiteering. Some doctors and nurses are into their jobs not because they want to help people but to profiteer from their patients. Conspiracy theories also make a huge lot of money. For ...

Why I Felt God Allowed the Eating of Meat After the Great Flood

One of the many things that I started to question was why God allowed man to eat meat after the flood. Were the pre-Flood people vegetarian? The Bible doesn't seem to say but some scholars believe that the pre-Flood times were vegetarian.  Apologetics Press addresses the issue in this way: To answer the question, “Were all men prior to the Flood vegetarians?,” one merely can conclude that the Bible reveals God giving instructions only regarding the eating of food made from vegetation prior to the Deluge. God’s Word is conspicuously silent regarding the eating of animals. However, just because God apparently did not authorize man to eat animal flesh before the Flood, does not mean that mankind abided by this regulation. It seems likely that there were some people who went beyond what God allowed, and ate various kinds of animals anyway . It is not difficult to imagine those living just prior to the Flood, whose every thought was evil continually (Genesis 6:5), leaning over a sacrifi...

My Thoughts on the Cosmological Argument for God's Existence

One of the arguments that I ran into some time ago is the cosmological argument for God's existence. Cosmology is the study of the universe. The Greek word "kosmos" means "world" and "logos" means "study". That means the cosmological argument of God is based on the study of relating with the origin and development of the universe. Cosmology is a branch of astronomy relating to the study of the development of the universe. Sadly, the study of cosmology today is tainted by the false doctrine of evolution by Charles Darwin - a view that pagans freely accept but Christians don't. Christians know evolution just can't be real based on scientific evidence. For the pagans, it's more of defending their religion since almost every pagan creation story is as messy as Darwin's views. Darwin was also from a family of Freemasons too. The more I study the science of the universe - the more it can be seen that it's not a result of random ...

My Thoughts on COVID-19 Hysteria Linked with End Times Conspiracy Theories

Image
One reason why John Hagee should be regarded as a heretic is that the guy just loves to make false prophecies. Some people were now raising their concerns about COVID-19 would be that "mark of the Beast" (HUH?). I wonder are these people listening to Infowars and Conspiracy Planet? Both Alex Jones and Texe Marrs may be anti-Catholic but they are still deceivers and nutjobs at best. It's no surprise either that Jesus-is-Savior's nutjob webmaster David J. Stewart endorses Infowars and Steven Anderson is allies with Jones. Jesus-is-Savior is so full of conspiracy theories you won't notice the guy flips his doctrinal stance a lot. Marrs' site can be either amazing or full of nonsense (such as his twisted interpretation of the Book of Esther). Now, some people haven't learned from the 2012 Rapture (or as the Bible calls, it Blessed Hope) hoax or Doomsday hoax. It reminded me of how I once said, "If I'm gone missing by December 21, 2021, then I'm up...

My Thoughts on Zechariah 14, the Great Earthquake Fault, and the Millennial Kingdom

The study of facts and figures will point to the Bible. History, mathematics, and science are all essential to understanding life itself. A study of geography and Zechariah 14:4 would help understand how one day, the prophecy set in Zechariah 14:4 will eventually come true at the Battle of Armageddon towards the End of the World. It was said that a resort was once planned to be opened on the Mount of Olives until they discovered that a fault line was there in 1964. It wouldn't be an ideal place to build a resort on top of a faultline!  The Jerusalem Post also shares the following information that reveals how dangerous it is to have earthquakes near the Mount of Olives: Reports indicate that about 300 homes were destroyed including one on the Mount of Olives that killed four small children . Nablus was the most heavily hit area, having the highest death toll of over 150 and 250 injured. The quake destroyed some 300 buildings in the city including the Mosque of Victory. Matthew 24:7...

My Thoughts on Why Daniel and His Three Friends Went Vegetarian in Babylon

Image
I decided to go through a slow study on Daniel. Granted, this was Old Testament times so we really need to understand how things were different for the Jewish times vs. the dispensation of the New Testament. Danieel and his friends were probably in their late teens (and would be considered marriageable at that time) so whether or not they were married men isn't clear. Daniel's three friends were known as Mishael, Hananiah (not to be confused with the false prophet), and Azariah. Their names were soon conveniently changed into Belteshazzar, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego so they can be assimilated into the Babylonian culture. Even more, their diet was about to change. They were soon introduced to the king's food which they flat-out refused with due politeness. What was the issue of the food? I was thinking about how Daniel and his three friends were among the faithful remnant. Why God allowed them to be in Babylon is part of a much greater plan. Before Islam came in the 7th...

My Thoughts on the Doctrine of the Freedom of God

Reading through Isaiah 40 has a doctrinal footnote from the "King James Study Bible" called "Freedom of God". The doctrine is stated as follows: Freedom of God: God is the only Being in the universe that possesses independence from the Creation. The only limits to God's freedom are in His own nature and attributes. He is unlimited in His existence. Because His existence relates to His nature rather than His will, God will exist forever. He who exists by reason His nature than His volition must have existed-and must continue to exist-forever.  Illustration: When God revealed His name to Moses at the burning bush, He called Himself "I AM" (Ex. 3:13-15). This name emphasizes God's self-existence, the fact that He always existed and always will.  Application: Neither anyone nor any outside force will affect God's relationship to us. He will deal with us according to His nature because He is free from outside influence. (First Reference: Genesis 6:1...

My Thoughts on Why People Lust After the Forbidden Fruit

It's past Valentine's Day and I can't deny that I've got the temptation for the forbidden. I was thinking about my struggle for the forbidden . I know it's wrong to do this and that yet I want to do this and that. It's like you know you have to study yet you want to spend the whole night watching TV or playing video games because of school stress. You know you're not allowed to date as a teenager yet you want to do it. Christians may find themselves attracted to unbelievers of the opposite sex though the reasons aren't always physical either. Sometimes, some Christians want to justify their lust for the forbidden fruit with whatever haywire reasoning there is. I don't find myself exempted either because just because I've been made a righteous saint doesn't mean I'm not a forgiven sinner. In short, a forgiven sinner is still a sinner though he or she is restrained by the Holy Ghost. In psychology, we have the forbidden fruit effect. It...

My Thoughts on "Spider" or "Lizard" in Proverbs 30:28

Image
The translation of Proverbs 30:28 has varied from Bible to Bible. Some say lizard while others say spider. I personally prefer the word "spider" over "lizard". However, there's some interesting trivia that we might have ignored. Kingsnake Blog Did you know that there's a animal called the spider gecko? Among the many varieties are the Persian spider gecko. It's scientific name is  Agamura persica . It's found in the deserts and Persia (now Iran) is part of the Middle East where Israel is. Solomon probably heard of the fascinating Persian spider gecko. The spider gecko is called as such because of its long spindly legs. It should be interesting that this variation of the spider gecko is found in the desert. I'd believe that these variety of geckos have made it into Israel even before Solomon became king. Granted, the KJV translators spelled out semaweth as "spider" instead of "lizard". The Strong's Condordance quotes the B...

My Thoughts on Proverbs 5:11-14 and Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Image
Science is a very old subject lie history and mathematics. Reading the Bible always gets me to think about how science and math were taught back in their days. One interesting passage in Proverbs is Proverbs 5:11. It says that time will come when you will mourn at last when your flesh and your body are consumed. The New International Version (NIV) uses the term "are spent" over "are consumed". The English Standard Version (ESV) still uses consumed. I prefer to use consumed instead of spent in the translations. The New Living Translation (NLT) gets a bit more accurate by saying "disease consumes your body". Proverbs 5 also relates to sexual immorality and the strange woman. All these start to link into high school biology? Doesn't it make you think of sexually transmitted diseases? I'm noticing how the sex industry sells. The women don't have to be stunningly beautiful. Some of the strange women I see in the bus terminals are as ugly or as prett...

My Thoughts on the Teleological Argument for God's Existence

Image
I was doing some Tecarta Bible reading with the KJV Study Bible. One doctrinal footnote found in Psalm 94:9 is about the teleological argument for God's existence. The word teleological should not be confused with the word theological . Teleological is derived from "telos" which means "end or purpose". Teleology is the study of the evidence of design in nature. It was said that Aristotle had been the common inventor of teleology even if he was a pagan. The Greeks were pretty much pioneers of science in the ancient world and other useful modern concepts. What does it mean to have the teleological argument for the existence of God? It would mean to prove His existence by the order and arrangement of the Universe.  Psalm 94:9 says that He that planted the ear that formed the eye. I'm amazed at how atheistic evolutionists still insist evolution  is  real even with proof that the eye and ears are  too complex  to have come together on the basis of chaos. An evolu...

My Thoughts on the Herod Family Tree and Its History of Inbreeding

Image
The Christmas narrative is somehow never complete without Herod the Great's plan to murder the baby Jesus. Take note though that it was already more than a year and Herod the Great's order was to kill all the infant boys two years and below. Somehow, the Herods really do are a dysfunctional family. Just researching the history of the Herods will reveal a lot of sexual sin possible. If you do some research on the family tree of Herod - you'll find out that they're a seriously inbred bunch. You may find out that inbreeding was very common among the Herods. Why was inbreeding practiced? People back then were more focused on keeping the family wealth intact and the bloodline supposedly "pure". So marrying outside one's family was probably not in their best interest. However, Herod Antipas was previously married to Phaeselis a daughter of Aretas IV of Arabia before he cohabited with his half-niece and sister-in-law, Herodias. It should be noted that the parents...

Why I Believe the Book of Job Mentions Dinosaurs and Why They Eventually Went Extinct

Image
The subject of dinosaurs can be very fascinating. Today, they're extinct and secular scientists have been debating for that long on how they got extinct. Various speculations came with a meteor that they can't prove though other stuff like climate change would actually be more sound. I remembered reading the Book of Job and I remembered Bible classes two different pastors pointing out about dinosaurs. I even have a book by G. Thomas Sharp called "The Truth About Dinosaurs". The Book of Job was mentioned and the 40th and 41st chapters are mentioned because of two creatures. One is called behemoth and the other is called leviathan. The descriptions that the Bible gives about the two creatures don't match the hippopotamus, elephant, or crocodile. Rather, the description would fit our idea of dinosuars.  First, let's talk about the behemoth (Job 40) Behemoth is a term used today to describe a giant beast. The description of the creature really tells you that it...

My Thoughts on Eglon's Cooling Chamber and Ancient Science

Image
Science in itself is a very old subject. Think about it that Egyptians have used some form of trigonometry and geometry before Euclid and Hipparchus became known to be the pioneers. Reading through the story of Ehud the lefthanded. Judges 3:24-25 talks about Eglon's cooling chamber. Reading the Bible without a good study guide isn't going to help. That's why I say if you want to study the Bible - you need to study science, mathematics, and history to strengthen your claims that it's the Word of God.  I read the commentaries "Commentary Critical and Explanatory on the Whole Bible" and "John Gill's Exposition of the Bible".  I was reading through them and discovered that a summer chamber was used by Oriental grandees to repose from the heat during the heat of the day. It is also a place where there are many windows to let in the air to cool and refresh - a part of the palace where that was cool and sheltered from the heat.  Here's what Arista...

Studying About Ancient Food Preservation Helped Me Understand Joseph's Story Even More

Image
I just thought about the weekly lessons from Ligonier.org which lessons by the late R.C. Sproul Sr. replayed were about Joseph the Dreamer. I remembered what Joseph said in Genesis 41:33-36 saying the following things: Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. 34 Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years. 35 And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities. 36 And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine . Just thinking about this one - it's a valid question to ask, "How can food stored throughout the seven years of plenty be preserved for the seven years of famine?" We are all familiar today with the label "...

My Thoughts on Leviticus 19:19

Leviticus 19:19 says, "Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee." I was wondering why is such an issue as to not to interbreed cattle, not to sow seeds with mingled seed, and neither to have garments of mixed fabric. So what's the reason behind it? It turns out that there's a scientific reason behind God's commands and not just on Leviticus 11. What would be interesting is that referring to different commentaries will give different answers. Trying to understand the Bible with both history and science is very important. God doesn't give a command without a good reason. Now, it's time to consider the sources which would give their various explanations. It would be good to analyze Leviticus scientifically as to see God's handprint in the laws of science. The "Commentary Critical and Explanato...
