My Thoughts on the Daniel 3:25 Translation

Image
I remembered the time I got into the KJV Only movement for many reasons. I felt that the missing verses (such as Acts 8:37) were really there. One of the big translation differences was that Daniel 3:25 in the KJV says "the fourth is like the Son of God". Meanwhile, modern translations say, "The fourth is like a son of the gods." This is one of the big reasons why I tend to lean to the KJV more often than not even when Charles H. Spurgeon was not KJV Only.  J. Vernon McGee's commentary also says the following regarding the matter: Another amazing fact was to see a fourth Man whom Nebuchadnezzar described as being in the form "like the Son of God". This should be translated "like a son of gods". Nebuchadnezzar had no knowledge of the living and true God at this time, although Daniel had spoken of Him. Having no spiritual perception, Nebuchadnezzar could only testify to His unusual appearance - He looked like one of the sons of the gods. Howeve...

I Also Wanted to Convert to Full-Time Buddhism Before

Image
Today is considered as Asala Dharma day in Buddhism according to the Buddhist lunar calendar. Dharma is considered as righteousness for both Hindus and Buddhists. I would like to recall a bit of my experience when I nearly converted to Buddhism. My ethnic Chinese folks were mostly Roman Catholic while they also practiced Buddhist and Taoist superstitions. It was a common practice to ask a Taoist astrologer for the right date for certain events - even for marriages that were to be held in a Roman Catholic parish! I knew a family of Taoist diviners who were also Roman Catholics! It was also a common tradition for some Chinese Catholics that a Roman Catholic novena was said for the dead. After the ninth day or sometimes on the 40th day - a Buddhist prayer ceremony for the dead is performed. The sad truth is that after the novena and after the Buddhist prayer ceremony - every last person who rejects Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will still be in Hell even after all those rituals...

Why I Find the Idea that Roman Catholics and Born Again Christians Have the Same Prayer to be False

It's no secret that the stance of the Vatican (except for some rabid Roman Catholic fanatics) is that those they label Protestants are now "separated brethren". One movement that came out during the 1970s was the popular Evangelicals and Catholics Together or ECT for short. It's so ironic at how some of Rome's amateur "apologists" have used Jim Bakker and Joel Osteen as an example to refute Protestantism or born again Christians. Many of the members of the ECT movement were quack pastors too. I remembered getting saved and I was told, "Well Roman Catholics are still Christians!" Many times, I get guilt-induced to the point of saying, "Well, it doesn't matter if you're Catholic or Protestant as long as you receive Jesus as your Savior." However, a Catholic said, "If you are still bad, you will still go to Hell." I answered, "If you're still bad, you never had Christ." It nearly became a heated debate. T...

My Thoughts on Billy Graham's Death

Image
It's really upsetting at how Dr. Billy Graham has died at 99 years old. I can't be too certain about his eternal destiny but right now I want to assume he's in Hell right now. I admit, I used to admire Dr. Graham himself back when I was newly saved - until I started discovering his affair with the Popes. Pope John Paul II even called Dr. Graham as a brother-in-Christ. Other wolves who passed away (and used to support) are Robert Schuller of Hour of Power and Paul Crouch of Trinity Broadcasting Network. Here's an interesting video that has Dr. Graham's real heretical move. No real honest to goodness pastor would even think of Roman Catholicism to be another Christian denomination. As a former Roman Catholic, I find it disgusting at how pastors like Dr. Graham had indirectly discouraged me from speaking out. I thank God I managed to read through several publications that actually helped affirm my worst fears about Roman Catholicism as a deadly system. What ma...

It Pains Me to Think That Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Was Pro-Vatican

Image
It was Martin Luther King Jr. a day ago and I want to give my thoughts on a man I once so admired when I became a born again Christian. I thought of him as a true champion of human rights. Then I decided to read through his speech, " I Have a Dream " which unfortunately endorsed unequal yokes between Roman Catholics and born again Christians. Every stanza is so full of urging to unite both Roman Catholics and Protestants together. It's sickening and that's one fact that Roman Catholic fanatics need to realize that the Vatican honors Dr. King whether they like it or not. What I found not so surprising is the links that Dr. King was a friend of the Jesuits. Even the Jesuits openly confirmed it themselves. From Jesuits.org you could read the obvious connection between Dr. King and the Jesuits.  Here's the whole article for reference which I'll highlight some important points made by some of the Jesuits themselves: January 19, 2015 — On a sweltering ...

I'm Not Accepting Pope Francis' Offer of Reconciliation Between Protestants and Roman Catholics

Image
As the 500th anniversary of the Reformation hits today, I feel like writing this post. This is going to be an "open letter" to Pope Francis telling him that I'm not going to accept his offer of reconciliation. People tell me that I should be more "open" because for them there's hardly any difference between Roman Catholic and Protestant doctrine. For starters, I'm not a Protestant but a Baptist though I embrace Protestant Christians as brothers and sisters in Christ. But I'm afraid how many Protestants and Baptists today are not true converts. Some of them have even become Roman Catholics as proof they weren't saved to start with (1 John 2:19).  What's the issue with me not accepting Pope Francis' offer of reconciliation? For one, there can be no reconciliation between Bible-believing Christians and the Roman Catholic system. The Roman Catholic system continues to insist that she's the Church founded last 33 A.D. yet nothing in...

I Believe Roman Catholic Fanatics Are Going to Have More Problems with Pope Francis' Ecumenism

Image
As the 500th anniversary of the Reformation approaches just a few days by now, I thought of one particular article last year that caught my attention. To no surprise, the liberal Pope Francis (who some Roman Catholic fanatics still proudly claim as the true successor of St. Peter) has embraced Lutherans. I've even read how Lutheranism has declined and if there are apostate Baptists then I'm told I should be surprised of apostate Lutherans. Pope Francis with apostate Lutherans Here's an excerpt from the  Catholic Herald  which may cause many fanatical Roman Catholics to tear their hair off in denial or some may even reject Pope Francis. It's because Pope Francis' stand against those he considers Protestants differs from the Roman Catholic fanatic.  Here in Lund, at this prayer service, we wish to manifest our shared desire to remain one with Christ, so that we may have life. We ask him, “Lord, help us by your grace to be more closely united to you and thu...

So You're Asking Me to Be Tolerant of Everyone Else's Beliefs?

Image
People tell me that I should be more tolerant and loving or that all religions are welcome. What I'm seeing right now from this clip is hardly complete tolerance. Douglas Wilson a Presbyterian pastor speaks at Indiana University and you have a couple of people breaking the courtesy rule. I guess such people only appeal to manners and right conduct if it benefits them. So much for saying that atheist morality is superior because it's not. If people have no fear of punishment then what reason would they have not to do anything wrong? If there are no moral absolutes then what's the use of calling Christian propaganda as whatever accusations they have in this video? Here's what I would like to bring up. It still makes me puke how these "liberals" continue to insist that that we should just accept everyone. Then if they should just accept everyone but why are they harassing people who contradict their beliefs? You can see that kind of intolerance when homose...

Why I Find the Demand for Complete Tolerance to Be 100% Impossible

Image
Right now, people say that I should be more tolerant. First, let's define tolerance. Tolerance means the ability or willingness to tolerate or allow something. It also means to have a fair, permissive and objective attitudes, opinions and beliefs that varies from one's own. It also means the ability to endure. Now are we called to tolerate? To a certain extent. Is it good to have an open mind? It depends on the case. But today the problem is the demand for complete tolerance. The problem of those vile people who call themselves liberals is that they demand people to "coexist" even if it's impossible. But what they really mean is comply. Allow me to tell you why I believe that complete tolerance to be 100% impossible. The world has opposing forces and we know it. The two forces that will never walk together are good and evil. Amos 3:3 warns that the two can't walk together except they be agreed. While there are differences that can be compromised but there...

Preachers Who Preach Easy "Christianity" Make Me Super Angry

Image
I have no doubt that the Bible is really true so I'm not surprised it's hard to find a good preacher. We've got lazy pastors who even say that expository preaching is a "lazy" and "cheating" method to do preaching. That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. Do these pastors who say that expository preaching is "lazy" and "cheating" realize that preparing an expository sermon is not an easy job. If anybody's lazy it's those pastors who love to do out of context preaching. I get angry whenever they attack sound preaching but also insist in the path of easy "Christianity".  What's worse is that some of these lazy pastors and other opponents of expository preaching are already committing strawman attacks and character assassinations towards expository preaching. One of the worst attacks I've heard from some "Baptist" heretic I had a terrible argument with that the old time pr...

Giving a Piece of My Mind on "Christian" Buddhism

Image
I don't deny that Christianity and Buddhism do have some things in common like doing charity projects, not pursuing revenge, and helping one's enemies in need. The difference lies in the motives of doing good works. Buddhism is nothing more than centered on self-salvation while Christianity focuses on good works as a result of salvation. There is no real concept of grace in Buddhism while Christianity is all about man's helpless situation against sin and Jesus Christ is the deliverer. The problem today is the age of ecumenism and political correctness. The late John Paul II was a strong pioneer in ecumenism. He had various meetings with the Dalai Llama as the center of the Buddhist world. You might even call Dalai Llama as the Buddhist Pope. Former Pope Benedict XVI and the incumbent Pope Francis have been making stops at Buddhist temples seeking religious reconciliation and unity.  Some may even call Guan Yin as the Mother Mary of Buddhism. The statement isn't v...

I'm Amazed at How Roman Catholic Fanatics Tend to Hate Islam While They Love Pope Francis!

Image
I don't buy it for a second that the Roman Catholic institution never has its differences. Even some Roman Catholics admit that there's some division within what they consider as the One True Church. Some are even honest enough to admit that Paul gave brotherly correction to Peter even if they believe that the latter was the first Pope. But let's talk about Roman Catholic fanatics who still continue to insist that there's no salvation about the Roman Catholic faith (something later Popes renounced and said anybody can enter Heaven if they're good enough) and they show their hatred for Islam to the point they compare it to Protestantism. Amazing isn't it? They hate Islam while they love Pope Francis who embraces Muslims as family. They fly their flags that Pope Francis is the rightful successor of Peter all the while they contradict themselves by disagreeing with the Pope in many areas. They have already disagreed with the Pope on the issue of Evangel...

I Get Frustrated Whenever Sinful Men Try to Decide on What is "Truth"

Image
It's annoying to say that it doesn't matter what your belief system is as long as your principles matter. But here's a question I'd like to throw on their faces, "Where's your basis for your principles?" I would agree some atheists are morally good but what's the basis of their morality? If truth is relative and we must have complete tolerance then why get mad when somebody's point of view disagrees with yours? We have homosexuals who demand for complete tolerance but they get mad when a person refuses to bake a cake. Homosexual bakers even have the right to deny a Christian couple their cake but the reverse isn't allowed. Where's the complete tolerance? Here's the problem with sinful man. Sinful man wants to decide on the "truth". 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 warns of this very powerful truth about sinful man: "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of t...

I Have No Reason to Believe That the Roman Catholic Institution Is the Bride of Christ!

Image
I'm glad that I'm no longer a Roman Catholic. I'm glad that God helped me see the truth. The Roman Catholic institution has the audacity to claim that she's the one true Church (based on faulty sources that anybody can edit), that the Popes are the successors of Peter, that the priests are the successors of the apostles and they save souls, that Mary is the mother of Christians and that the Church is the way to the Father.  The Roman Catholic institution is not the Bride of Christ but a Whore who is married to the world. Roman Catholics tend to have contradicting views towards born again Christians. They may falsely accuse born again Christians of blind obedience to the pastor (but they say that blind obedience to the Pope is necessary for salvation) and that their doctrine of eternal security teaches a license to sin. After doing their false accusations I mentioned, they make a heel face turn. They brag about how popular the Roman Catholic institution is compa...

Sorry I Can't Respect All Religions!

Image
People tell me, "Please be tolerant! Stop criticizing other religions! We should love one another!" I'm sorry but people just keep taking Scriptures out of their context or they misinterpret the obvious. If my discussion with Roman Catholics about Peter's so-called primacy is already stressful enough, the same goes for every misapplied verse. One of them is to misapply love one another. Pope Francis is just one of the many fools out there who's fond of misapplying that verse. It's true Christians are called to be loving but not on the worldly definition of love. Christians are called to love people to tell them the truth about sin and salvation only through the Lord Jesus Christ. the problem today is that we've got this "love" gospel which waters down repentance, we've got quack preachers who say they're Christians because they accept other religions. Worse, they say they're pretty "sure" that the Lord Jesus doesn'...

Giving a Huge Piece of My Mind on the Ecumenical Movement

Image
Every time I read any news on the Vatican, it's almost impossible to read something about the Vatican without linking it to ecumenism. When I was newly saved and hungered for Christian doctrine, I trashed Trinity Broadcasting Network and its associates because it was unequally yoked with Rome. I even stopped supporting Billy Graham when I learned that he was unequally yoked with the Vatican.  The whole Vatican II Council was set after Pope Pius XII. We have John XIII, Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II, the retired Benedict XVI and Pope incumbent Francis. All these men claimed to be successors of Peter but their actions prove otherwise. I can't imagine Peter himself saying all religions lead to God, that the Jews don't need Jesus, that atheists may go to Heaven. If those Roman Catholics still insist that the Popes continue the legacy of Peter, they better analyze all of the Scripture concerning Peter because Matthew 16:16-18 doesn't point to Peter as the Rock. Th...

Giving a Piece of My Mind on Islamic Infiltration

Image
It's no secret that Muslim terrorists are causing worldwide problems. It made me upset to think that Pope Francis just wants people to accept Islam as "non-violent". I would like to talk about Islamic infiltration and how it works. What's even worse is that the average Muslim today doesn't know that they're all part of some grand scheme or that Muhammad was a really violent man. Ever since we have that problem of political correctness  then it has become easier for Islam to infiltrate the nations of the world. They move in, they populate both by procreation and Islamic evangelism, they can start to demand or request for political correctness to be Islamic friendly then they slowly take over. It's been the same formula used by Muhammad and his successors. Think Islam had nothing to do with 9/11 fifteen years ago? Don't you believe it!   It saddens me to think how people think that nothing's wrong with Islam then a couple of politically correct...
