I'm Not Surprised People Believe That Nostradamus "Predicted" the Coronavirus

Let's just face it - people turn to anything but the Bible, right? The Bible is really offensive. False prophets hardly offend anyone. Just think why Jeremiah was highly unpopular with the majority of the Southern Kingdom of Judah while Hananiah had a huge following. Hananiah spoke lies. Meanwhile, we've got another false prophet named Nostradamus. Even after centuries of him dying without Christ - his "prophecies" are still very popular and feared. People who fear the future would turn over to a quack prophet than to the Bible for spiritual guidance.

Now, I remembered I bought a book years ago called, "Will the World End in 2012?". It was back when it was said that the Rapture of the Church will hit in 2012. That means by December 22, 2012 - the Tribulation Period will finally begin. However, Matthew 24:36 says no man knows but the Father only. Jesus in His humanity voluntarily suspended His omniscience and omnipresence. Jesus would know back then but not while He was still in His earthly ministry. Jesus would be lying if the Rapture happened last 2012 - which it didn't! Now, people are saying that Nostradamus allegedly predicted the Coronavirus? The fourth chapter is titled, "The Predictions of Nostradamus". It showed how often vague the predictions of Nostradamus were. One of the failed interpretations was that all life will end (or that the Rapture of the Church will be) on December 21, 2012.

Ray Comfort of Living Waters also wrote a book called "The Secrets of Nostradamus". He also made a Youtube video about it. I watched his video way before I'm not surprised by what happened. Why I don't want to even believe in the prophecies of Nostradamus is because the Bible warns of false prophets. Nostradamus is a man deep into the occult. There are times a false prophet predicts something right but it's only because God seldom allows it to test the people's hearts. A broken clock can sometimes tell the time right but that doesn't mean you can trust it. Nostradamus should be treated like you treat a broken clock. You're better off trusting God's Word than the "prophecies" of Nostradamus.
