Why I Don't Believe in the Prophecies of Nostradamus

Sigh when will people ever learn? Right now, I'm reading that 2017 now has a lot of Nostradamus' prophecies "coming true" but the question is did he even predict them to start with? I can't think of how stupid people can get based on this simple fact: they don't read their Bible

Let's take a look at what the Bible says which gives me good reasons not to believe in the "prophecies" of false prophets:
Deuteronomy 18:21-22
And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
Acts 1:7
And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power.
1 John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

The only prophecies I can rely on is the Bible. Here's a warning that people have also been given:
Deuteronomy 13:1-5
If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear Him, and keep His commandments, and obey His voice, and ye shall serve Him, and cleave unto Him. And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the Lord thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.

Yes, there are times that false prophets may end up speaking the truth.  While there are moments God would allow false prophets to prophesy the truth like Balaam and Caiaphas but he still tells us to beware of them. God has a purpose to allow evil men to utter the truth. I think Balaam was allowed to do so giving him a chance to repent but he blew it. The same happened to Caiaphas. There is the warning that must be heeded. Even if God allows false prophets to prophesy correctly but a true prophet can never lie. A true prophet will never prophesy except by the Word of God.

So what's with Nostradamus? Even if some of the alleged predictions are coming true but God also gave a warning. You can know a false prophet because of failed prophecies.

Even if some of Nostradamus' prophecies came true but God is still testing the people. The fact that most of Nostradamus' prophecies didn't come true then that really shows he's not a man of God. One has to consider that the Book of Revelation is the final prophetic book. After that, everything was done and no more prophecies are required. The apostolic age already ended. The time of the prophets has already ended. What makes certain people even think they have succeeded the apostles and the prophets while they keep making one bogus prophecy after the other?
