I Don't See Abortion Any Less Sinful Than Pagan Child Sacrifice

I read atheist blogs where some of them dare to condemn ritualistic human sacrifice of infants to Moloch while supporting abortion. Their reason? I remembered one atheist said that the fetus is just a glob of flesh. But if it's just a glob of flesh and it's not living then we better talk about some scientific facts such as:

• An unborn child has a heartbeat which is an indicator of life.
• Miscarriage is the loss of life of a fetus within the womb of the mother.
• The pregnant mother's health is utmost priority because it doesn't only lead to birth defects but it can also kill a child.
• If a pregnant woman is killed then why is it double homicide?

Why do I dare say that abortion isn't any less sinful? Sure, we don't see abortion clinics erect a huge image of Moloch any pagan idol. We don't see abortion doctors beat the drums and pray to Moloch or any pagan god before the abortion is done. What can't be denied is that both child sacrifice to pagan idols and abortion involves infanticide. To legalize abortion is to legalize some form of infanticide. Both of them are bred on selfish reasons.

Why is abortion so feasible? In a sin-driven world it's easy to see that unwanted pregnancies are now more common. It's stupid how mothers sexualize their daughters then complain why they're becoming early grandmothers. Other schools encourage teenage dating then they complain why teenage pregnancies are skyrocketing within their campuses. We even encourage women to sexualize themselves which can help increase the chances of rape much higher than it used to be. If decently clothed women can get raped (and this is where most cases are women aren't at fault for it) then how much more those who dress up like harlots? All the sin results to unwanted pregnancy and all of them generate good revenues for a sinful government.

I even read of how sinful human sacrifices are. Can you imagine how the Aztecs even sold their own crying children to the priests of the rain god Tlaloc to be sacrificed and eaten by them? Today, the abortion industry has irresponsible parents paying for their daughter's unwanted child. Abortion pays very high and some make a living out of it. It makes easier money than being a clean and honest doctor. However, all that money is blood money which in turn can result to dangerous consequences.

So really, why even try to make abortion look less sinful than pagan child sacrifice?
