I Believe China is Destined to Become Asia's Largest Christian Population

The more you persecute Christianity - the more it grows! That's the truth that the Bible had declared this wonderful truth of the Scriptures concerning persecution:
1 Corinthians 4:9-11
Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

This is the truth about Christianity. Jesus never promised an easy life yet He also promised that He would provide the grace to survive it. The Holy Spirit Himself doesn't only convict sin but also empowers the Christian. The truth of the matter is that Christianity itself has been persecuted many times. If unsaved Jews couldn't stop it, if the Roman Catholic institution couldn't stop it, if Islam couldn't stop it then what makes China's atheistic government think it can wipe out Christianity in China? The answer is it can't because state atheism is just another force of Satan. Christianity itself is founded and rooted upon Jesus Christ.

I always look back at Peter's confession of faith and what Jesus said.
Matthew 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this Rock I will build My Church; and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

Why is the Rock unmovable? It's not because Peter is the Rock. Even the Good News Translation makes a clear distinction between Peter (a rock) and the Rock. 1 Corinthians 10:4 says that the Rock is Christ. Jesus assured Peter that the Rock foundation is unmovable. Also, the assurance is that the gates of Hell won't prevail against it.

It's amazing how Chinese Christians are getting stronger in the face of persecution. The Chinese government's attempt to try and get rid of Christianity will all be in vain. Other state atheist leaders such as Mao Zedong, Pol Pot and Joseph Stalin tried to abolish Christianity. The bloodier the persecution - the more Christianity grew instead! It's giving people hope and something worth dying for. A persecuted martyr Christian's testimony is powerful enough to show how God can change lives. Even some Communists have left the movement because it gives them no hope at all!

Also, with persecution there is something to rejoice about. What's there to rejoice about? The Bible says that those who are persecuted for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ are indeed blessed. It's an honor to suffer for Christ and with Christ.
Matthew 5:11-12
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
