I Still Can't Get Enough of This Song "Jesus Put the Song in My Heart"

This song is a children's song but I can never have enough of this song. This is for one reason: it's because Christians are saved not in their sins but from their sins. Matthew 1:21 says that Jesus came to save His people from their sins. 1 Corinthians 6:11 says that those who were once unworthy to enter God's Kingdom are given a new life. 1 Thessalonians 1:9 says that a Christian is saved from idols to serve the living and true God. Hebrews 9:14 says that Jesus' blood was done in order to save people from their dead works to serve the true and living God.

This song sings the timeless message that you can't get saved and still remain the same. If you're truly converted then how can you still love sin and never grow up from sinful habits? The doctrine of Antinomianism is one dangerous doctrine. Some people today supposedly said a prayer but they are not saved to start with. The very idea that a person can be saved and still stay the same is nowhere in the Bible. That kind of doctrine can only be taught by fake converts. True converts don't want to live the same life anymore out of gratitude.

The truth of true faith is that it's not a dead faith. Many historical preachers have verified the truth. James 2 shows what is a true and authentic faith. A faith that produces no works is good as dead. In short, that conversion is a sham. How can anyone insult the Lord by claiming to be saved yet still live the same? God forbid that sinners be rescued in their sins and not from their sins. The song continues to address the truth that if you're saved then the heart of a servant of Christ is the result!
