Why I Believe People Love to Reject Sola Scriptura

My head spins and my temper is ignited to explode whenever I hear somebody who reads Mark 7:8-9 against Sola Scriptura. What's chilling about it is this: how can anybody who adheres to Sola Scriptura ever be rejecting the Word of God to keep one's own tradition?! It can't happen! Because if you fully embrace the Bible as it is in its entire moral code, you definitely aren't keeping your own tradition compared to those who add their own personal tradition NOT found in the Word of God.

What's worse some people think that the Bible actually condoned to "certain evils" and they say they're Christian. I have zero percent reason to believe them when they say they're Christian and say that the Bible and the principle of Sola Scriptura condoned to certain evils. What evils are they saying that the Bible condoned? Slavery and death penalty. They say that death penalty was only for the Jews because it was only given to the Jews. Well then, don't tell me that we shouldn't follow the Ten Commandments because it was first given to the Jews? Was slavery really evil in the Bible? If they read it further, the Bible commands masters to treat their slaves well and even makes people accountable for how they treat their slaves!

The poor excuse of saying "only men wrote the Bible so it can't be fully trusted" is nothing more than an excuse to add something to the Word of God. So why do they ironically and hypocritically quote Mark 7:8-9 against Sola Scriptura then? If that's the case don't tell me that religious leaders like the Pope or the executive ministers of pseudo-Christian groups aren't men? Then they may say something like that the Pope is supposedly guided by the Holy Spirit to be free from doctrinal error. But the history of Roman Catholicism proved that the Pope has made one doctrinal error from the other speaking from his seat! Many executive ministers of different pseudo-Christian religions are also having revelations that contradict the Word of God.

I guess that's why the Bible is so taken straight out of its context. Many religious leaders even dare tell their followers not to read the Bible for themselves and that not anyone can understand it. It must be understood by the private interpretation of one's council. During the Dark Ages, the Bible was made a forbidden book by the Vatican. Anybody who had a copy of the Bible in Latin or in their own local language were exterminated. When I think about the history of Bible translators many of them suffered persecution and even martyrdom in their zeal to make sure the Scriptures are read and people may be free from the satanic deceptions of their day.

What's worse is that even after 2 Timothy 3:16-17 is read to them, they still don't want Sola Scriptura. If they can't even understand the context of simple verses then don't expect them to want to understand even that verse that's clear as day that Scriptures is our governing principle. I mean what part of, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." can't they understand? It's been a matter of fact that like the atheist who rejects God in the face of crystal clear evidence that life is no accident, the same goes for people who reject the principle of Sola Scriptura. They reject it because they want to keep their own traditions. Now who's Mark 7:8-9 condemning now but then?
