I Have No Reason to Believe That One Can Compromise the Gospel With Worldliness

The timeless truth is that Christianity is not for worldly people. Do you know becoming a Christian results in people rejecting the world? Most people think that if you're right with the world then you're okay. But the Bible says you're not okay. James 4:4 addresses the sad truth that friendship with the world means enmity with God. To become a friend of God is to become an enemy of the world. There's no middle ground between salvation and damnation. Either you are of the world or you are of God (John 15:18-19). It's either Heaven or Hell, the narrow way or the broad way. You must choose the narrow way or you'll end up in Hell because you're still in the highway.

There's a fine line in the sand between worldliness and spirituality. When it comes to Jesus and the world, I can't have both. I can't expect to be accepted by both God and man. I can't seek my personal glory or the glory of another and compromise it with God's glory. That's just plain impossible because only God deserves the glory. There's got to be none of me and all for God. None for myself and all for God when I do my good works. No good work is truly good unless if it's done for God's glory and not for one's self.

The idea of a worldly gospel is no gospel at all. When worldly means are used to attract the crowd, it creates false converts. The Gospel must be preached for what it is. It's a call for repentance and remission of sins (Luke 24:47). The call for repentance of sin is not works salvation. Instead, it's a call to change your mind about sin. It doesn't mean forsaking them and start doing good in order to be saved. Instead, it's coming to terms with what God thinks about sin and that you need salvation. Forsaking and doing good is the result of repentance. The Gospel confronts sin and tells them this one offensive truth of John 14:6 that there's no other way to Heaven but Jesus.

It sounds like the extremists' language but Matthew 7:13-14 says that the way to life is narrow and everything else leads to destruction. Most people are wrong and only a few are right. The truth is never determined by a minority or a majority. Truth will always be truth regardless of whether it's majority or minority who believe it. Falsehood will always be falsehood regardless of whether it's majority or minority who believe it. Truth will always remain the same that the Bible is the Word of God, Hell is real, none is righteous, all are sinners and Jesus is the only Way to the Father. Go ahead and get mad but the Gospel cannot be compromised with worldliness. The truth will always be the truth and you better believe it or face the consequences sooner or later.
