Giving a Piece of My Mind on the Vatican's Meddlesome Attitude with Political Affairs
Christians are called to become people who are meddlesome against sin no questions asked. Christian can't be a person who loves sin. Even if they're not sinless but they sin less and they grow to love righteousness and hate sin becaase a Christian isn't just saved but saved from sin. Matthew 1:21 declares Jesus came to save His people from their sins. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 declares that Christians were delivered from such sinful lifestyles. There's no way that you can be saved and still live like the Devil. No, that's much as a lie from the pits of Hell as the idea that salvation is attained by one's contribution of good works. Because Christians aren't saved by works but their faith will bring forth works as a result, we can see that Christians are called to be meddlesome people like the prophets of the Old Testament. The only difference is Christians today no longer receive revelations because the Book of Revelation is already completed. A Christian can't afford to shut up when something like same sex marriage, abortion, pornography, divorce or just anything ungodly is legalized by sinful men. Christians are called to protest. Just because there's a separation of the functions of church and state doesn't mean Christians may not protest. While the Bible currently discourages the establishment of a state religion under the New Testament, we're not under the Old Testament theocracy but it doesn't mean Christians should shut up and do nothing about it. Christians need to speak up against sin out of concern for people enslaved in sin even when they're not affected. It's all about care for others.

While I do appreciate some Roman Catholics are actually sincere in their right against certain immoralities like the wickedness of legalizing certain sins or doing charity works but their personal righteousness gains no merit in Heaven. The average Roman Catholic today is left ignorant. While the whole mission with Roman Catholics is to preach to the them the Gospel as it is but I don't encourage discussing with them about the "deep dark secrets" of Rome. What needs to be focused is proving their doctrine wrong with the Word of God. Let's focus on this problem. Is the Roman Catholic institution's meddlesome attitude really because it loves God or is it for its own personal gain? One can always do something "good" or do "good works" to look good but a good work isn't really good unless it springs out from one's being regenerate by the grace of God. Romans 10:3 calls it many people try to establish their own righteousness because they are ignorant of the righteousness of God. Many people today are just like Cain. They bring in their best but their best isn't enough. No, your hard grown vegetables can't buy you righteousness. Only the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is what pays for the penalty of sin and liberates you from the power of your sin. You can't have authentic righteousness and a changed life from sin to serving God for the rest of your life apart from the Lord Jesus Christ.
What's really the Vatican's motives behind meddling with world affairs? While Christians are called to be meddlesome against sin because they're called to love people enough to tell them the truth about sin, Hell and the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Savior, the Vatican has different motives. After studying church history, I came across the history of the Inquisition. My mind was blown with all the brutality and filth that the Mother of Harlots had to offer the world. Their love for being meddlesome was never about their concern for sin or souls. Instead, it was all about holding their grip of power with the world itself. One of the many reasons why the Reformers called the Pope as the Antichrist (based on a historicist view) or why some theologians today believe that the final Pope will be the Antichrist is because of this truth.
The Pope meddles with just anything that threatens his right to two phony pillars namely his temporal power and his belief that he has the right to apostolic succession. Many rulers and nobles were executed for simply not being Roman Catholics or for opposing the Roman Catholic institution. Reading the accounts of Christian rulers and nobles getting executed for simply affirming Scriptural truth didn't surprise me one bit. I got a shock because the horrifying picture of the Inquisition is just too much to take. The late Pius XI said, "You know that I am the Holy Father, the representative of God on the earth, the Vicar of Christ, which means I am God on the Earth." The Popes have been well-known for equivocation or spinning around statements. It's like saying you didn't steal something and that you merely took something that wasn't yours without permission. Although I've read some of these papal documents that at one point that certain Pope claimed he was merely a servant but on the next paragraphs, he suddenly elevated himself. In short, will the Unholy Father please make up his mind?!
Outwardly, it does seem that Pope Francis is genuinely concerned about the world's morality. Yet he also has given into a lot of sinful compromise. He's been telling people not to equate Islam with violence. While I don't suggest that Christians should treat all Muslims as terrorists or criminals since not all of them are but advocating for harmony between the Koran and the Bible is an unequal yoke. It also looks like Catholic bishops around the world who meddle in political affairs look like they're genuinely concerned. Yet many Catholic bishop's organizations around the world are only meddling if something goes against them. Many of them receive generous donations from corrupt politicians. If any investigation goes against any of their generous donors then they start to meddle. Some of them even don't really speak too much about the victims of crime unless if it's one of their generous donors. No wonder Revelation 17-18 gives such a description to Babylon the Great that not only is she a city upon seven hills but she's also controlling all the nations of the world.
What still amazes me is that even after the late John Paul II supposedly apologized for the Inquisition and the Crusades during the "Day of Pardon" mass, other Roman Catholic apologists are now telling the world that the Inquisition never happened, that it's just a lie made up to make them look bad, that it's a lie of the Devil or that others even dare to say that the Holocaust "never happened". Just because you say something "never happened" won't change the fact what really happened. Even secular history books have verified the reality of the Roman Catholic institution's crimes. There's so much filth in the Mother of Harlots that the only thing Christians can do now is to call her people out of her. That's why I don't believe that the late John Paul II was sincere in his apology. I don't believe that Pope Francis was sincere in his apology. I once thought that the Roman Catholic institution could be reformed but I was dead wrong about it. Martin Luther may have thought he could but he couldn't. All these apologies are probably nothing more than smokescreens to deceive the public and to keep Roman Catholic in bondage. The more the Vatican keeps Roman Catholics from knowing the truth the better it is for them and the worse it is for the spiritual well-being of people. Many Roman Catholics today are still misled by somebody who claims to succeed Peter when he didn't!
Should I also mention about the Vatican's opposition to death penalty is just hypocritical and not grounded on Scriptural truths but their own traditions (Mark 7:8-19, 13)? To make their stand to why they oppose it - they misquote "Thou shalt not kill." but forget the rest of the Bible. Some Roman Catholic apologists even go as far as to say that supporting Sola Scriptura means supporting "certain evils". It really makes me think so are they indirectly saying God is evil because He ordained the death penalty?! The way they talk is like as if God is evil for ordaining it since they say that adhering to Scripture alone may condone to certain evils. That's just a small picture of how often the Pope's authority attempts to derail the Bible as the final authority. While Roman Catholics don't believe that the Pope doesn't commit any mistakes like they do believe that their beloved Pope can be wrong about stuff not related to religious doctrine but they tend to treat papal infallibility beyond to what's written on the Vatican's official constitution. I think the the whole idea of opposing the death penalty is to make people shut up about the Inquisition and forget about it. No, it must not be forgotten and even if talking about the Inquisition may not be the right way to preach to Roman Catholics but Christians can't afford to be silent when the Great Whore of Revelation is continuing to hold people in the bondage of deception.
Should I also mention about the Vatican's opposition to death penalty and why I defend my stand it's nothing but hypocritical behavior and show business? To make their stand to why they oppose it - Roman Catholics often misquote "Thou shalt not kill." but forget the rest of the Bible. If they read Exodus further, you'll see God has called for the death penalty. Some Roman Catholic apologists even go as far as to say that supporting Sola Scriptura means supporting "certain evils". The bigger problem right now is that Roman Catholics are just as stubborn as every unsaved person. The unsaved people are lost sheep who need to be warned about the dangers of the wolf lurking around, ready to devour them. The wolf may represent the Pope or any cult leader. The wolf may represent Satan himself, God's wrath or Judgment Day that's coming for the unsaved. The man is the Christian witness who's warning the sheep. But how do the sheep repay the man? They "thank" him by simply kicking him out and calling him a self-righteous, legalistic, judgmental Pharisee. But the truth is all Christians can do unbelievers is warn them. If they refuse to believe then it's their problem. While it doesn't mean Christians may be careless for all they want (which can't happen because God always finds a way to put them back on track) but it must be noted that even in one's best behavior, the truth will always be offensive even if it's spoken in love. Jeremiah spoke the truth in love and was only attacked by hate. Likewise, Christians can't expect not to be attacked by hate but they should keep in mind that they're called to speak the truth in love.
