Giving a Piece of My Mind For People Who Say the Bible is Only Written By Man But Don't Question the Other Writings of Men

There's the problem that people today tell me that the Bible is just written by man and how can I be sure that it has no error. Any Bible believer can get those kinds of statements from Roman Catholics and other pseudo-Christian cults, atheists and many more. But there's really one huge irony that happens with people who question the Bible saying that it's only written by men. They display this double standard which is very visible indeed.

I've observed such people say that, "Well the Bible is only written by men, how can we sure it's right?" While doing so, they end up upraising a mere man above the Bible. It's like how Roman Catholics reject Sola Scriptura but lift up the Pope, Mormons reject Sola Scriptura but treat their mission president's word as final, members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) put the central council above the Word of God and atheists tend to uphold the writings of atheist writers more or less in the same reverent way that Christians handle the Word of God. But aren't they just men?

Cultists who claim to be Christians may go ahead and say that these men get "extrabiblical revelations" to correct the Bible. That statement is just foolish because how can the Bible be corrected when it's God who gave that revelation to start with? God made no mistake when He instituted and later abolished the ceremonial law. When God didn't give a new revelation, everyone followed whatever He had revealed. It's foolish to say that the apostles never had a Bible with them because the certainly had the Scriptures with them. Even if Roman Catholics don't regard the Pope as someone who can't be wrong on certain stuff but the teaching of papal infallibility has caused them to fall from one error after the other.

The same goes for atheists with how they question the Bible's authenticity all the while some of them have that attitude not to question the writings of atheist authors. It sickens me to think how atheist literature is their Scripture. I can't really comprehend even for one point how they would spit at God's Word because its' written by man but consider the writings of atheists (who are also men) to be better than the Bible.

In short, these are all bad cases of double standard. Rejecting the Bible because it was God's revelation written by men while they have high regard for men's writings which are not God's revelation. It's really stupid isn't it?
