All the Sex Scandals in the Vatican Don't Surprise Me

After realizing some good pastors can fall into marital infidelities and have repented of it, I'd like to point out the Pharisees of the Roman Catholic institution as well as their supporters. Some Roman Catholic apologists say that there's more sex scandal in the Evangelical circles than in the Roman Catholic circles. Reading biographies of former Roman Catholic Pharisees turned born again Christians reveal a lot of dirt hidden. Whenever there's a lot of scandals involving the Roman Catholic priests (who many Roman Catholics love to proclaim are saviors of the souls of men while Evangelical pastors damn souls), they are more than willing to cover it up.

They go ahead and laugh at the pastor who has fallen into sin, they are willing to take stones and stone the pastor but tell them, "Let he who had no unrepented sexual sins cast the first stone." I expect them to run away because there has been a lot of scandals. While I acknowledge some Baptist institutions that were guilt of sex scandals or that some pastors were really sexually degenerate but there are major differences. Evangelical Christians don't teach that their pastors save souls, that God forgives sin through their pastors, their pastor is the vicar of Christ or is "another Christ". Roman Catholicism teaches that their priests save souls, that God forgives sin only through their priests, that the Pope is the vicar of Christ and that the priest is another Christ. The false teachings about the Roman Catholic priesthood leads to them getting into hot water.

The reason why Roman Catholic apologists can say that there's "more" scandals in Evangelical circles is this. In the Evangelical circle, whenever a pastor turns out to be a sexually degenerate he's immediately labeled as a contrast to a Jeremiah 3:15 pastor. When a Jeremiah 3:15 pastor sins, he's more than ready to confess, "I have sinned." like David confessed his adultery with Bathsheba. But in the Roman Catholic institution, there's so many cover ups. I guess some Roman Catholic priests were forced into silence or excommunicated when they want to warn their flock about the dirty homosexual activities going on or to warn other Roman Catholics so and so is a child rapist. All the cover ups have caused any Roman Catholic priest who is morally good in the worldly sense to be silenced or threatened with excommunication while all the sexually degenerate priests are left unexposed. I pray for those sexually upright Roman Catholic priests who are forced into silence they'll realize that they must come out of Roman Catholicism. They can't compromise with her any longer. They must come out of her!

What's worse is that when the cover ups no longer work and they're forced to "discipline" the sexually degenerate priest (by simply transferring him or her somewhere), they're quick to say, "Well Judas Iscariot was also part of the twelve." or "Let he who sinned not cast the first stone." The hypocrisy really roars sky high whenever they roar, "Let he who sinned not cast the first stone." From what I observed, that statement is so easily misused and abused. While it's certainly biblical truth but what it means is simply this. Because I'm not sinless, I have no right to take the law into my hands and that's why people aren't called to seek revenge for whatever wrong happens to them. While I have no right to get revenge on the murderer but I can certainly have the right to report to the authorities about the murderer. The same goes for exposing the sex scandals in the Roman Catholic priesthood. It's righteous judgement to call sin as sin. After all, aren't the Roman Catholic priests really fond of taking matters into their own hands like the Pharisees who wanted to stone the adulterous woman without proper due process to verify if she was really guilty or not?
