Just Because I Don't Support It Doesn't Mean I Hate People Involved in It!

One illogical argument can be the fallacy of false dilemma where one immediately assumes that A results to B without analyzing the context. It can also be considered as the argument of nom sequitur because it immediately assumes the conclusion before taking things int context. It's like saying that just because a person goes against what you do that the person immediately wants to kill you. Even when things are clearly spelled out in simple words and in black and white, you still have these illogical people miss the point of what's going on.

Many lost sinners today love to play the victim whenever they're told the truth. People can accuse me of being unloving and non-Christlike. Do they even know Jesus well? They only have "another Jesus" who is not the Jesus of the Bible (2 Corinthians 11:4). Their Jesus isn't the one to confront sin. The more I read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John the more I really see the reality that Jesus wasn't "nice" by the postmodern standards. Sure He was gentle but He was tough when He needed to be tough. Every gentle shepherd must also learn to throw stones at wolves.

Why do I go against secular movements and false religions? It's not because I hate the people involved in it but it's because I love them enough to tell them the truth. For them, it's loving that they should be allowed to practice their religion and lawlessness. People today think love is the tolerance of error but true biblical love doesn't tolerate error. Jesus loves lost sinners more than enough to tell them the truth as it is. He didn't sugar-coat the truth a bit just because He's afraid they'd be upset about the message. These people are ignorant, they think they're so wise when they're foolish (Proverbs 12:15) and they must hear the truth. I hate false religions but love the followers enough to tell them the truth.

It's really a great act of love that Christians stick out their necks to people who need to hear the truth. Stephen would have not stuck his neck out and even risk death if he didn't care about the souls of people and neither the apostles. To say that they're not "Christlike" they better read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. I don't believe that for a second if you acted like Jesus the world will love you. On the contrary, the more Christlike a Christian becomes, the more the world is going to hate that person.
