I Pity People Who Feel Sympathy Over This Broken Idol of the Roman Catholic Mary

As a former Roman Catholic, I remembered the time that I was so sensitive with treating the images used for worship. After I got saved, I realized those things needed to be thrown out. The picture above has a person foolishly saying to people, "Translation: Mary is in a sorry state here. PLEASE DON'T SCROLL DOWN WITHOUT TYPING "AMEN". To all who love Mother Mary please SHARE this too. I hope that person's conscience will bother him or her for doing this to her."

This situation is no different than the situation in Judges 6:28-31 when the people were mad that Gideon got rid of the image of Baal. The statement that Gideon's father whose name is Joash said is true saying which I'll quote from the Good News Version for Roman Catholics, "But Joash said to all those who confronted him, Are you arguing for Baal? Are you defending him? Anyone who argues for him will be killed before morning. If Baal is a god, let him defend himself. It is his altar that was torn down.If this was really "Mary" and this idol was really "Mary" then why doesn't it defend itself? Breaking that image of "Mary" is not a great loss at all.

If idolaters were not really worshiping the image as they claim then Exodus 20:4-5 is a lie. I've seen people panic whenever a false god falls down. I still couldn't forget the time I got berated for breaking an image of Buddha by accident. If they were praying to Buddha and not the image why do they put too much value in the image? If those images were just "reminders" like pictures of friends and relatives then why put too much value in those pictures? They could have just gone back to the shop to buy another image. But no, they ended up worshiping a god bought of a souvenir shop or a marketplace.

Mary is a sinner saved by grace and she definitely needed salvation as much as every other lost sinner. She's important like every Christian is important but Roman Catholics have given her too much importance than she has. She stood in awe of the Angel Gabriel, she rejoiced in God as her Savior, she offered a sin offering - those events prove she's not immaculately conceived. Roman Catholics are right to say, "Well this isn't Semiramis." Well, other major polytheistic religions can go ahead and say they're not worshiping Isthar or any ancient goddess from Babylon. But it's still idolatry nonetheless.
