Look Atheist, I've Already Gathered as Much Evidence for God and You Still Don't Want to Believe It?!
Here's a clip from the movie "God's Not Dead". Atheists say that it's one sided and biased but look who's talking. I always gave a thought on this stressful truth. Look, I already spent all my time gathering evidence even from former atheists. I started gathering for more evidence that life is no accident and science provides it but why do atheists want to continue in their rebellion and insist that God doesn't exist? The video above shows the timeless truth that atheists really hate God but they don't want to readily admit it.
What does the Bible say about this and why do atheists want to discredit the Bible? The Bible knows everything about our sin. Here's what the Bible says about atheism and it speaks so true about them:
Romans 1:20-32 - "For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. They know God exists but they think they're smart not to believe in God. They think that God is the ultimate obstacle to their delusion of achieving unlimited human progress. But how can unlimited human progress happen when humanity is imperfect to start with? Whether they like it or not but technology is governed by the rules of science. A good example is how sex change doesn't really change your biological gender. Transgenders are forever stuck with their biological gender because science dictates that they were born as either male or female. Technological progress is limited by scientific laws. Do you think communications could happen if there were no scientific properties to back it? One would be foolish to attempt to use rubber as a conductor of electricity or metal as an insulator. Science proves that rubber is an insulator of electricity while metal has the electrons needed to be a conductor of electricity. Gravity will always have the same properties. Your body can't breathe in space. Attempts at body modification will only lead to real problems. No amount of scientific development can defy the laws of science because God wills it.
The question of atheism has never been an intellectual question. Intelligent design has been proven by science. Even when it's proven that atheistic evolution can't produce an eye yet they still insist that it could produce an eye by simply getting different eyes and arranging them into the "evolution of the eye". Even if you show them evidence for creation in the most complex of structures they'll just say it was just coincidence. They say that machines were assembled by designers and not produced by magic wands. That's indeed very amazing how atheists still choose to be captivated by their own delusions that God doesn't exist. But deep within there's always that hatred for God that they have and they just don't want to immediately admit it!
The painful truth is that all I could do is warn them and I can't change their minds. If they don't believe the warning then it's not my problem. If I did have the power to change their minds then God doesn't get the glory and it would be me instead. Events like these make me think that's why I may have become a Calvinist as of right now. No matter how I bring up the evidence for God they still don't want to believe. It's becoming more and more easier for me to buy into Calvinism because some people never believe no matter how much you tell them about the truth. Whenever I say that only God can soften the hard head and heart heart the more I'm thinking that it's His divine initiative than anything else.
The doctrine of Irresistible Grace as stated in Theopedia says:
"Irresistible Grace (or efficacious grace) is a doctrine in Christian theology particularly associated with Calvinism which teaches that the saving grace of God is effectually applied to those whom He has determined to save (the elect), whereby in God's timing, He overcomes their resistance to the call of the Gospel and irresistibly brings them to a saving faith in Christ."
Plus, here's something Jesus Himself had said about salvation:
John 6:44 - "No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."
