I Get Frustrated Whenever Sinful Men Try to Decide on What is "Truth"

It's annoying to say that it doesn't matter what your belief system is as long as your principles matter. But here's a question I'd like to throw on their faces, "Where's your basis for your principles?" I would agree some atheists are morally good but what's the basis of their morality? If truth is relative and we must have complete tolerance then why get mad when somebody's point of view disagrees with yours? We have homosexuals who demand for complete tolerance but they get mad when a person refuses to bake a cake. Homosexual bakers even have the right to deny a Christian couple their cake but the reverse isn't allowed. Where's the complete tolerance?

Here's the problem with sinful man. Sinful man wants to decide on the "truth". 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 warns of this very powerful truth about sinful man:
"And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

It's stupid how sinful man say, "Well the Bible was only written by man. Why should I believe it?" If they're atheists I could say, "Then why do you still read the newspapers and textbooks if it were also written by man." They can go ahead and say, "There are no absolutes." My answer is, "Are you absolutely sure there are no absolutes?" It's circular reasoning resulting to a series of logical fallacies and contradictions. It's amazing how atheists can also contradict themselves to dismiss the Bible as a book of fables because it was only written by man but a lot of them seem to worship atheist writers to be the main source of the truth. I find it stupid how an atheist writer claims to love the truth but he has no basis for truth whatsoever. He even said that the Vatican has a lot to pay for but what's his basis for it? In short, he has nothing to defend it.

The impossibility of having complete tolerance can be illustrated in several situations. Homosexuals tolerate same sex marriage therefore they won't and shouldn't tolerate anybody who's against it. Christianity doesn't tolerate same sex marriage therefore they won't and shouldn't tolerate anybody who's for it. If you tolerate what's good then you don't tolerate what's evil. If you tolerate what's evil then you won't tolerate what's good. For every tolerance there is intolerance. If you must love then you must also hate. If you love your spouse you'll hate anyone or anything that threatens to harm him or her. If you love babies then you'll hate abortion. If you love lawfulness then you'll hate lawlessnes. If you love God then you'll hate the Devil. If you love righteousness then you will hate wickedness. If you love expository preaching then you'll hate out of context preaching. Christians love sinners enough that they hate the sin that will soon damn the sin and the sinner together. God is love but He also hates sin because He is holy. God loves the sinner to provide a way out of one's sinfulness while He must also hate the sin that will cause make Him damn the sinner and the sin together.

The truth of the matter is that letting man decide on what's truth only results to more and more chaos and contradiction. It's no wonder why we've got so many world religions today with a lot of contradictions in between. Paganism is such a confusing world to the point that most of them don't agree with each other. Try comparing a lot of the polytheistic religions of the world and you'll see how their gods can't be harmonized. It's even stupid to even compare the highest gods of each and every polytheistic religion to the God of the Bible. No pagan deity who heads the pantheon of gods and goddesses in polytheism can be one and the same with God the Father. The Hindu trinity is not the Triune God. No member of the Holy Trinity can be compared to any pagan deity. Jesus is not Krishna or a manifestation of Vishnu as some New Age movements would want to believe. The pagan deities even in their own myths can't stand the might of the holy Triune God.

What's why ecumenism doesn't even make sense. If Hinduism were the truth then everything else that doesn't agree with it is a lie. If Buddhism is the truth then everything else that doesn't agree with it is a lie. If Islam is the truth then everything else that doesn't agree with it is a lie. Since the Bible is the truth then everything else that doesn't agree with it is a lie. While it's important to broaden one's mind at times but one must also narrow one's mind to focus on the truth itself. In short, it's just a repetition of theme of Judges that says, "Every man did what was right in their own eyes."
