Sorry I Can't Respect All Religions!

People tell me, "Please be tolerant! Stop criticizing other religions! We should love one another!" I'm sorry but people just keep taking Scriptures out of their context or they misinterpret the obvious. If my discussion with Roman Catholics about Peter's so-called primacy is already stressful enough, the same goes for every misapplied verse. One of them is to misapply love one another. Pope Francis is just one of the many fools out there who's fond of misapplying that verse.

It's true Christians are called to be loving but not on the worldly definition of love. Christians are called to love people to tell them the truth about sin and salvation only through the Lord Jesus Christ. the problem today is that we've got this "love" gospel which waters down repentance, we've got quack preachers who say they're Christians because they accept other religions. Worse, they say they're pretty "sure" that the Lord Jesus doesn't like what true Christianity is doing by attacking other religions. Let me ask them how "sure" are they? Did they ever fail to realize that the Lord Jesus loves the lost sinner enough not to tolerate error? But for the world, love means tolerance of error, sin and false religion. That's not biblical love. That's the false love that Satan and his forces love to propagate.

They tell me all religions serve the God of the Bible. But the more I study other religions, the more I see their theological views are incompatible with Christianity's theological view. The pagan trinity of polytheism or the worship of many gods and goddesses is not the same as the Christian concept of the Trinity. There's no way that the Christian Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) are the same with pagan trinities. Pagan trinities rely on polytheism. The Christian doctrine of the Trinity is found in 1 John 2:19 which is widely missing in most modern translations. The Trinity is the doctrine that there are three Persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) in one God. They are one in essence (God) and three in Person. That's very different from tri-theism (three gods) and polytheism.

World religions usually teach salvation by works and earning it. Christianity teaches that salvation is by grace through faith and that good works follow as a result. Such teaching that man contributes to none of their own goodness for salvation is an affront to the pride of life. Many people grow up believing if they're good enough then you're okay. Christianity teaches the doctrine of total depravity. James 2:10-11 says that it only takes one sin to burn in Hell forever. Romans 3:10-19 declares none to be innocent. Christianity declares that you need Jesus Christ to be delivered from the captivity and power of sin. That's really hard to comprehend for any lost person caught up in their pride. It's no wonder why the Roman Catholic institution has a very easy time acting as the leader of the ecumenical movement!

In truth, Christianity is the only religion (religare) that is true and acceptable before God. The Christian religion is different from manmade religion. Manmade religion does not develop any true religare or relationship with God. It's only ritualistic to the core. Christianity seeks to liberate people from the laws of man and bind them to the just Law of God. One demands religion to be saved. Christians have their religion because they're already saved. Still saying that all religions are just the same? Remember Jesus said in John 14:6 that no man goes to God the Father except through Him!
