There's No Way I'm Accepting Prosperity Gospel Pastors as Born Again Christian Pastors
I remembered the time I listened to Joel Osteen and watched TBN when I was still newly saved. It seemed fine until I realized they weren't preaching much about sin and it's been more on the prosperity gospel. Many of the stuff they preach aren't biblical like they say that you know a person who's not well with God because the person isn't living their best life now.
Well, they better try to tell all their idiotic statements to the Christians who were suffering for the sake of the Gospel and see if the true Christians will buy it for a second. The answer is no because following Jesus has never been about living a glamorous life. Paul never lived a glamorous life and his whole life was filled with persecution. Anybody who says that a person who's having much wealth and prosperity is automatically confirmed to be right with God needs to reread the Bible over and over again. While God can certainly give times of wealth and prosperity but it's certainly not a guarantee of being right with God. God may have blessed Job with so much wealth while he also allowed Satan to afflict Job with poverty and affliction. So don't tell me Job wasn't right with God when he got all that affliction?

2 Timothy 3:12 warns, "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." Did you read that prosperity gospel preacher assuming that you are reading this post? If I'm suffering for Christ don't tell me one single moment it's because I'm not a Christian. Anybody who's going to grow in righteousness will be more and more persecuted by the world. This whole world is fallen, it's in rebellion against God since the fall of Adam. Noah had 120 years straight of non-stop ridicule until the floods happened. Jeremiah had no popularity compared to the false teachers. When Jeremiah got all that affliction, don't tell me that he wasn't right with God. On the contrary, being right with the world is definitely proof you're not right with God. You may not be living in a billion dollar mansion but if you're easily agreeing with the world with everything wrong with it and getting along with sinfulness then you're not saved.
Matthew 5:11-12 gives this comfort in suffering for Christ, "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." These false preachers tend to get away with what they do but there's a God who's watching. Deuteronomy 32:35 says, "To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their footshall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste." They may be having their best life now but in due time, they'll be having their worst life later unless they repent of their sins and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
