Why I Eat Shrimp Wrapped in Bacon While I Condemn Homosexuality

Homosexuals are saying that I'm a hypocrite because I eat shrimp wrapped in bacon while I condemn their behavior. What they don't realize is that there's more to Leviticus than ceremonial laws. The Old Testament is has the moral law and the ceremonial law. To say that the Old Testament is no longer relevant means to get rid of the Ten Commandments and all standards of morality. Then if the New Testament simply "took it all away" then it's not a sin anymore to lie, steal, cheat, murder, commit adultery, rape, kidnap and just everything wicked sin that Leviticus and the New Testament condemns.

When it comes to the moral law the New Testament remains the same. Romans 1:26-27 says, "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." If that's not a condemnation against homosexuality in the New Testament then I don't know what is. But I'm certain by the Word of God that homosexuality is still against God's Law.

So why am I eating bacon and shrimp? Acts 10:11-15 has this familiar passage:
"And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, LORD; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common."

God has cleansed what was once unclean so I have His permission to eat shrimp wrapped in bacon. While I wouldn't want to even start eating wild animals, cats and dogs for health reasons. Pigs, lobsters, crustaceans and mollusks are currently acceptable to the dietary table. My only ground for condemning the eating of certain animals is because of the higher risks they have compared to eating pork and shrimp. Eating wild animals, cats and dogs poses a high risk because one has too much fat or protein and has higher risk for parasites while rabies can't be killed by cooking it. Christian liberty doesn't mean you may just eat anything that could harm one's well-being without suffering its consequences.

Even if God has already cleansed the meat and told Peter, "Rise Peter, kill and eat." But He didn't tell Peter that sin was now legal. The Old Testament dietary laws were abolished but the New Testament hasn't remove the moral law. Christians have the liberty to go ahead and eat bacon wrapped in shrimp while they boldly oppose the sin of homosexuality. I have His permission to eat shrimp wrapped in bacon but I never have His permission to sin. Besides, isn't homosexuality also the sin of lying to the world that you're the opposite gender?
