I'm Seeing Some Roman Catholics Who Refuse the True Gospel Because They Love to Sin!

I have observed among some (not all) Roman Catholics is that they have their love for sin. Some of them tend to think that Baptists teach a license to sin but on the next moment, they also accuse born again Christians of being a group of legalistic killjoys that just don't know how to have fun. Their reasons why they call born again Christians as a group of legalistic killjoys is because many of them are religious and living so sinfully. For Roman Catholics, a lot of them tend to think that think nothing is wrong with going to night clubs, watch tons of pornography, get drunk, womanize, sleep around with the opposite gender as long as they are faithful to their religion. Unfortunately, James 2:10 has a much higher standard that God's standard is sinless perfection which no one can achieve.

Some Roman Catholics can be like the rich young ruler who refuse to leave Roman Catholicism because of the fear of losing their business ties and are actually more into the money culture. Others really just love their sin and religion at the same time. Many of them really love to go to Mass, to perform the sacraments and attend every event but there's hardly any change. The answer lies on the fact it's all about self and not the Holy Spirit. Many corrupt politicians around the world are religious Roman Catholics. The cycle is like they sin all the year long and they may receive communion if the pay for forgiveness, they go to the priest for confession, give a donation, do penance and the cycle repeats all over again. There's no real repentance but only penance. Penance is doing something to make up for the bad you did. Repentance is a change of mind that results to a change of purpose. Know the difference. 

The great Charles H. Spurgeon once warned, "The proof of man's being unsaved is not only evident in self-righteousness but a wicked lifestyle. What is disturbing is that many people think they are "good" even if they love to live a life of sin. Many religious but lost people are faithful to their religion but are also degenerate in their lifestyles at the same time. When people are truly saved, they are delivered from their sinful lifestyles by the grace of God so nobody can boast." Besides, didn't John 3:20 also warn that men love darkness? Men love their sin and if they love their sin they only want to be delivered from the consequences of sin but not from sin itself. Sadly, many Roman Catholics are really living life like they've got God's permission to sin. After all, sin all you want, confess your sins, receive the sacraments and sin all over again. Meanwhile, the truly saved people of God are secure in Christ forever with the evidence that their hatred for sin continues to grow with their love for God.
