I Want to Puke Whenever I Hear Antinomian Preachers Who Don't Preach Salvation From Sin!

I just feel like I want to vomit at quack preachers who don't preach the essential doctrine of salvation from sin. The works salvation crowd makes me dizzy with them quoting Scriptures out of context. The same goes for those who teach the Antinomian doctrine of salvation. They misquote verses like Ephesians 2:8-9 or Romans 4:5 to justify their heresy. They may not always directly tell you they promote a license to sin. But the whole idea that a person can be saved and remain the same is already a license to sin. It means that there's no real confrontation about sin and the need for forgiveness and deliverance from sin.

Matthew 1:21 makes the Gospel clear that Jesus came to save people from their sins not in their sins. The Gospel was always a call for sinners to repent of their sins. When people get saved, one can see that the power of sin is broken down. Romans 3:31 says that the Law isn't made void by faith but it's established by faith. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 shows the change that happens before and after salvation. Titus 2:11-14 shows that God's grace teaches righteous living. The declaration of the Gospel is that it changes the lives of people by the grace of God. Salvation is not by one's good works but it results to good works. To teach a salvation that doesn't produce good works is devoid of truth. James 2:14-23 warns that faith that doesn't result to good works is not saving faith at all.

To insist that Christians may remain the same after salvation is an attack and insult upon the holiness and power of God. Alone, a man is powerless against sin but with God, deliverance from sin is truly possible at every corner (Titus 2:11-14). The grace of God teaches men to live righteously and soberly. These  may bring up the issue if the man is unteachable but God's grace makes me teachable. God is too holy to let men stay the same and His grace is greater than all our sins. Because God is holy and powerful then He certainly will overcome all sins in the life of the believer. Christians may not be sinlessly perfect but they now sin less. To say that a Christian can still live like the rest of the world is a serious attack on the doctrine of sanctification and God's holiness. God is too holy and loving to allow those He's saved to live in continuous sin or not to do anything about their lifestyles.

It's important to recognize this fact that false doctrine springs not from exegesis but for eisegesis. It's very easy to take Ephesians 2:8-9 out of context to justify Antinomianism just as it's very easy to take Ephesians 2:10 out of context to add works to maintaining salvation. Both heresies are equally misguided and are a sure road to Hellfire. Matthew 7:21-23 doesn't only attack those who rely on their good works for salvation but also those who are doers of lawlessness.
